He's also beginning to get in Donavan's head IMO considering Pearl is now 8-1 against Donavan. That's a tough place to win and we went in there and took it to them from the get go to give Florida it's first loss on its home court this year.

I thought Tabb really hit a couple of big threes and our defense was pretty good for the most part. T Smith showed good leadership and Chism had a good game. Tatum also played pretty well today. Our passing to the interior was excellent in this game as well.

After what all has happened and they are tied for first in the East again? I'll take it.

March 5, 2008, defeated by Bruce Pearl and Tennessee!!! Kind of ironic that bald Kevin has provided Tennessee the opportunity to take the eastern division title. It will be a damned war in Columbia on Thursday. Tip will be at 7 eastern, 6 central on ESPN or II. I thought Josh Tabb played, perhaps, his best game of the year but he was very over shadowed by Wayne and Tyler. Big Williams also played well, particularly on the defensive end. Unless they now lose three in a row, which is highly unlikely, I think this victory today put the Vols in the Big Dance. Last regular season game will be vs. Alabama in Knoxville on CBS with a noon eastern tip.

Tabb played well, but made a couple of bonehead fouls at the end there. Maze may be a better 2G than a PG. He has a good outside shot, but has not distributed well. I do like Maze against a full court press though, he is fast up court.

Alabama is playing well right now. That won't be easy. Need to win @ Cola.

Tabb and Cam were big and Maze and Hopson made some big plays (and more importantly kept the bad plays to a minimum). When they can hold their own, our big guys can really shine as the pressure isn't all on them.....

This makes Thursday night's game in SC HUGE, as if we win we're in the catbird's seat....and who would have thought we could take first alone with the season we've had?

I think our win today locked in a NCAA bid.......a great win by Pearl today!

Nuttin better than shuttin' them gaytor fucks up in their own house.

I HATE Calathes more than any UF BB player ever. The guy is just a first class prickazoid and its damn sweet to beat him down there.

I think we will win out in the RS and at least make the Champ game in the SEC.

More than likely a 6th seed but I wuddnt count out a 5.

Great job by the Vols! Coach Pearl can really get them up to play the Gators. Let's beat the Gamecocks on Thursday night and win the East!

Actually not to nitpick but it is actually 7-1 for Pearl over Donovan, still an unbelievable winning percentage against a 2-time National Champion coach. We pretty much own Florida, Florida dominates Kentucky pretty consistently, and Kentucky pretty much has owned us.

You look at Tyler, JP, Chism, and Scotty, that's 4 pretty talented players. If we can just get some consistancy from Maze I think this team could make another sweet 16 run. Our biggest problem is we are outmatched against talented guards. Hopefuly we can draw against teams that don't have that.
