SST was great when Scott McKinney was in Olive Branch, MS, and Max was in West Palm. If I have the story right, once the show took off Scott and Max both moved to the Destin/Ft. Walton area and had a live studio. I guess Scott got too big for his britches because I heard he starting living the good life and left his wife. Come to find out, he was spending all the money they were getting from a group of investors and was on the hook for over 100K. He even screwed Max Howell out of a bunch of money and I'm not sure if they have ever made amends.
Last I heard, Scott was in prison. Guess Max is still in Florida. I have an old SST t-shirt that Scott personally mailed me. He was a very nice guy. Guess success can ruin a person no matter what if they allow it to.

Five years in prison. That I understand. But 50 years of probation? That's a life sentence of probation. That's excessive.
