I'm thinking of changing balls. I've used Pro V1 for about four years, but wanted to switch to more of a 'feel' ball to try with the new Mizuno's. Other than ProV1x, got any suggestions? Thanks.

I really thought more people would be here than this.
I used Pro V1 only last year for the first time, best year I ever had especially for distance control so I'm not gonna change. Supposedly they changed the Pro V1 this year some, what they've done different to it I haven't a clue. Only other ball I think I would consider is one of the Bridgestone balls. What's the weakest part of your game?

is where I lose most of my strokes. Unfortunately, I think that has very little to do with what ball I'm playing. It's mostly lack of talent. However, a softer ball might help my 'hands of stone' approach shots. I've heard the new Pro V1x is longer, but still has better performance around the green. One of they guys in my foresome says the new Pro V1 is longer than the old, but the cover feels softer. Go figure. Maybe I'll hit a sleeve of both and decide.

I've been bangin away a Titleist NXT and I love it. I'm not good enough to tell you why but I've the Pro V's and the Callaway's and I always come back to the NXT.
I shoot about a 90-95, maybe y'all can tell me why that ball works so well for me. I drive about 220-235.
Is it just an all around kinda ball?

I have moved from Prov1 to Bridgestone.

After using the ProV since inception, I have been trying out the Bridgestone B 330 S....great feel around the greens. Good ball flight, and appears to be same or longer than the Titlist X. My issue has always been spin(too much), that is why I always have used the X instead of the other ProV.
Since the lawsuit, I do not believe that Titlest can make the same ball they did before- so I doubt the preformance is any better and probably not as good. That is why I decided to try another ball. Most of it is in our heads, but that means a lot in golf.

My game is literally not good enough to be playing ProV or the 330. I started playing the E6 and that suits me since I play maybe 2/month.
