Jimmy Hymens just reported on 990 in response to a caller that the Peyton Manning and Crompton meeting never happened , and that Peyton said whenever he as met Crompton he as always been courteous , and he is a good kid :007::alc:

I hope he's fired, he's terrible.He was all over that story on his 12:00 show making a real big deal out of it.

Fired, no. Is he still going to be on the station? That remains to be seen.

I'm not a big fan of his, but in his defense, he was told the story by sources that he believed (with good reason) to be credible. In this case they were not. As a reporter, he goes with what he finds out, unfortuantely, it was very wrong in this case.

No it wouldn't. Better than Chip Kain, maybe, but on the grand scale still awful radio.
