Re: Another Kiffin mistake...
Joe Vol Fan: Man, Brandon was a five star recruit, a freshman All-American at Florida State, and was the TD catcher throughout spring and fall camp, but hardly saw a down. Why?

GregAmsler: Kiffin says he's not as ready to play as out other wideouts.

JoeVolFan: Are those the wideouts runing wrong routes, dropping passes and missing blocks?

GregAmsler: Who are you to doubt Kiffin? Only Fulmer could be second-guessed, not Kiffin.

JoeVolFan: I thought we treated all the coaches and players the same?

GregAmsler: No. Kiffin is always right; anything he says about a player is right; and it's all Fulmer's fault. If Kiffin says the player is the right one, he's right. Let's not logic interfere.

Re: Another Kiffin mistake...NOPE
Not a mistake. Probably a necessity. Good player, yes (at times), but had some attitude problems that even FSU wouldn't put up with.

We're glad he's gone, and you guys should be too.

Anyone wanna bet he ends up at North Alabama with all the FSU rejects?

Dead wrong about FSU...
FSU never rejected Warren. Just the opposite. They recruited him, landed him, played him early and often in his freshman All-American system reported no problems whatsoever, and fought like mad to keep him from transferring for years. Try to get a few facts right before posting about a kid.

Annnnnd there it is...it's not about whether or not Warren deserved it (especially since you don't know squat about the situation, while Kiffin does). I never mentioned Fulmer...but your position all comes back to Fulmer...and the fact Kiffin ain't him.

How did I know this after your first post?
What we've got here is a failure to communicate...

Yep, probably should have never left. Even so, he did leave, and made his bed. This will not ruin his life...can still get an education like the rest of us poor slobs, except his is free.

Simply because he is a physically gifted athlete doesn't mean he's got the right mentality. And just because they system never reported problems doesn't infer there weren't any problems, either.

In fact, any and all of his accomplishments at FSU don't even matter. That's right. This isn't FSU. This is Tennessee. This is now. And if he's holding everyone back or putting himself above the rest of the team like he showed on Saturday by yelling at a coach, then we don't need it. Lennon Creer anyone? Physically gifted, poor mentality, gone.

One step back before two steps forward IMO.

Re: Dead wrong about FSU...
I remember that BW wasn't Jimbo's favorite by any stretch of the imagination. Alot of us called boolsheet on the whole "homesickness" thing (cancer, remission, not in remission, which one is it, blah blah blah)...anyways, it's neither here nor there, and is irrelevant.

You guys are probably better off without him. With a new coach it's important that every single member buy in to what that coach is selling to succeed. Believe me, we're a VERY in-tune bunch when it comes to criticizing coaches.

And as far as what Kiffin IS selling...tell him to stop selling it to our commits!!! When we heard Miller and Willis were leaving, I swear Mickey Andrews head blew off!

LOL! He acts as if he knows more about Warren's Florida State situation than the Florida State fan who came on VolShit to discuss it!

What a fucking moron. But we already knew that.

Hueyvol if your hero Fulmer had the same kind of fortitude , coach Kiffin as he may well still have his grossly overpaid job , if Fulmer had cut the deadwood out of the program and not have left the program in the dire straights it is in right now , he would still have his job , seriously why do you think coach Fulmer as not had one significant offer since he was let go ? , you and the rest of the Fulmeristas need to stop ******** and moaning about the new staff and get behind the new staff , this is the university of Tenneesse , not the university of Fulmer or Kiffin , the new staff is only 5 games in give them a chance to correct the mess they where left with , all this will be corrected in time , anybody who thought they where going to get a quick fix , with what we where left with are just delusional and being unfair to the new staff .
