View Full Version : I guess I must revise my 6-6 prediction down a bit.

I had thought and hoped that we would reach the 6 win plateau and be able to have all that extra practice time and excitement about football until New Year's day. After saturday night, I don't think 6 wins is possible this season. We just don't have the horses and the coaching staff is still finding itself. I hope we can keep most of this recruiting class together and bring in some high quality O-Line. If so, we should be better next year, even without the extra practice time. I believe they bring in Matt Simms from JUCO as QB next fall, so that Bray can learn from him.

Wait till Sunday to revise. After watching Auburn, Malzahn proved to this skeptic that he can coach offensive football. I think Auburn will beat Georgia, I don't see Willie Martinez stopping the Barners.
If Vols can somehow, someway get a win on Saturday, they have an open date coming up and time to get healthy. Tennessee pass rush will be key. Looks like Dawgs also may play their true freshman back. Vol defense needs to produce at least two turnovers in this game.
We have lost to teams that are a combined 12-1 right now.

Stopping AJ Green is the key, otherwise UGA does not have that great of an offense.

UGA's defense is good. In fact their front 4 dominated LSU's O-line at times during that game.

I think Auburn definately has a better offense; defenses may be about the same. So UT has a fighting chance.

A win against UGA could pump some needed enthusiasm back into this team.
