Supposedly Ralph Williams is now looking around. Also, James Green is planning on entering mid-term after the fall in prep school.

Ralphie is one of the commitments that I wont mind if they end up elsewhere.

Brassy, I was thinking the same thing. From what I read, he hadn't been hearing much from the staff since his commitment. He said that he had changed phone numbers. I think an upgrade is on its way.

Ralphie also does not have a qualifying test score as yet and since he didn't say, "Well, I'm just two points off," I would guess he is about five or six points away. It would not be a great loss if he signed with the Weebels. Guy can't line up with Taylor anyway and looks like CLK is red-shirting two linebackers this year.
I just don't think this staff is going to piddle around with a guy who has not qualified by the end of the year. They need mid-term enrollees and high school guys that are guaranteed to be there for first semester of summer school next year. We've had enough drama with Gerald Williams and Marlon Walls. Full qualifiers is what they are after now!!

It also appears that beside M Pair we have lost B Irwin from this class. He committed to Az St on sunday. Don't know exactly what went on there, but he said that the Az St D will let him do more things, and that Monte just wanted him to rush the passer. Who knows the truth? Shouldn't be grades though, we committed to a harder to get in conference in the Pac 10, not easier,

Isn't Arizona St. coached by one of the biggest cheaters in college football in Dennis Erikson? I don't count lost commits to cheaters against our coaches.

Yeah Irvin was going to have problems with the extra math class the SEC provides. It's no coincidence the two other schools he considered once he opened up his recruitment were WV and ASU, imo. WV for obvious reasons, and ASU has a recent history of enrolling guys who couldn't get in at SEC schools.
Still hate to lose that guy as he looks like a physical freak. But we are in on so many defensive players I won't lose too much sleep over it just yet.

I think the thinning of the recruiting herd is taking place. I think that room is being made for the guys we really want.

I sure would feel alot more comfortable if those guys went ahead and committed first...

A lot of the guys we get are going to be mid termers. Then there are some we probably will not know about until Jan 2nd and 9th, the days of the all star games when they make a show of where they are going. Some dominoes have to fall in some cases.
