He picked Tennessee to beat UCLA last week. He's guessing just like the rest of us are guessing.
Last year the old staff put the game in Crompton's hands and he couldn't beat the Bruins. This year, the new staff would not let him throw down near the goal line and we couldn't run it in.
Auburn has a better defense than UCLA, that is why he is picking them.

After two games, Aubie's offense looks a little better than ours. Things could change by week 5.

You will find out much more about Auburn on Saturday. They play West Virginia and the Mountaineer staff should be very familiar with the offense the Barners run. I'm going with West Virginia to beat them even though I don't know a thing about WV's team this year.

If Crompton is still the starter and remains in the whole game, I will not be surprised if Aubie beats the Vols.

I really think the only way Crapton is still the starter against Auburn is if he plays well on Saturday. Another implosion like last Saturday would, IMO, finish him off. His worst game last year was against Auburn.

I hope you are right. LWSVOL, a very reliable poster, doesn't think so.

Yeah, and Crompton might blossom into a competent QB, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Herbie has been on record having Awebarn starting 6-0, for whatever reason, probably it's Defense.
