I say the line would be 17-20 pts easily and the Vols would lose by 35+.

If Sir Clapalot was still coach, 52-7.
Since Lane and Monte are here, 38-10.

Gators=45,
UofFulmer= -4bags o' CheesyPoofs.
Urban turned it off at the half. CPF kept it up on the CheesyPoofs.

have said that the new staff would make us more competitive with florida--maybe even significantly more competitive. But after the ucla game, I can't say that as, to my amazement, we played and look almost exactly like a Fulmer team--crompton at qb, conservative play calling, having freshmen returning kicks (mistake), a fairly lame performance overall. The similarities to last year's team were uncanny. :confused:

This is for real?
How many TDs did TN's special teams give up?
How many bend-but-don't break yards did the TNdefense give up?
How many 3rd&longs did UCLA convert?
How many times did TN call a TO b/c no one knew what the play was?
How many times did TN call a TO b/c the right players weren't on the field?
How many times did TN get a ridiculous personal foul call?
How many times did TN go from something that was working offensively,
even if barely, to a completely opposite trend that went kaput?
I could go on....

look they kicked our asses the past two years. and especially our last trip to gaysville. they would do the same again phil or no phil they are going to try and kick our asses. the players might be a little more pissed, but maybe they'll be a little over pysched and make a few errors.

They won't put us away this year until late in the 2nd half with a final drive or two, and at the end Kiffin and Urbie will come to midfield to shake hands (yeah, right) and Kiffin will give him that stone cold stare...this one will say "We ain't your bitch no more, and we're comin' for your ass so you best run off to Notre Dame while the gettin's good mutherfucker." Urbie will piss himself just a tiny bit, a small dribble of fear, then later of course he'll talk big shit to the press. Kiffin will say all the right things at HIS presser, including how he thought we were the better team until our lack of depth caught up with us at the end. Says make plans to eat Gator stew in '10.
The following Monday UT will announce several more 4 and 5 star commitments, at least one of whom will be Jeff Luc, who will put on a BAMF cap at his presser.
The phone will ring at ND......

Ordinarily I'd guess the line would have to be expressed in scientific notation but upon further reflection I think that Whiner would - as he did last year - try to keep it down as much as possible to preserve Fulmer's job. OTOH if he knew that Fulmer was out no matter what then he'd go for triple digits.

Men-
Let's think about this. Last year Fla could have scored 70. That was the most conservative gameplan I have seen from the Gayturds, absent the Zook years. Urbie wanted Phil to stay.
30-6 was a merciful outcome last year. Just my opinion.
