the number of articles that I have read since LK was hired, that mentions, "I can't wait to sing "Rocky Top" all night long after we beat Florida next year". Higgens with the CA has written about five articles on this alone. "Bulletin Board" material, can't count them either.
One thing about it though, it keeps UT in print, dosn't it?
I love it.

I think UF has to worry about being too fired up, trying too hard. It might backfire on them.

Higgens cant find anything good to write about in Memphis..the football team sucks...the basketball team went in the shitter...the grizzle's cant win 20 games a year so now UT's all he's got left...

Yeah I don't think it's a bad thing either. Sure gives uf fans plenty to bitch about though, they're coming out of the woodwork.

How about the fact that not one article that mentions Kiffin saying that goes on to say immediately after saying that he said, 'just kidding Urban, Mike (Hamilton UTAD) told me to say that. He wasn't guaranteeing a victory or anything like that. But I guess it is an easier story to right if you leave out the entire truth.

And maybe I pay more attention than media does....Kiffin said immediately after "Urban, Mike told me to say that". It was a joke, and he used a lot of humor in his opening press conference.
Likewise, when speaking to the boosters the day after signing day, he was joking (and also sending a subtle message to Urb not to bother calling recruits when they're in our house - you will be called out. After all, Urb is responsible for the text message restriction rule).
But there is no way the anal-retentive Meyer can understand such subtleties. But why the media can't understand it, I don't understand. Bunch of Fulmer felchers and UT haters.
