I hope he does try. It'll take them out of a normal gameplan of winning the game and give us more opportunities on defense. If the game is close at halftime, the pressure ratchets up significantly on the Jorters.

If he's smart he will, that is if he gets the chance. Most believe he hit cruise control last season. Of course the other school of thought would be that he intends to teach the young upstart coach from UT a lesson this weekend.

UM might look at it from a recruiting standpoint. Try to illustrate the gap between the two programs especially now that Gran is having such success in his neck of the woods. Plus with all the hype surrounding this one, I'd be very surprised if he let up.

Question is will he ever have that chance? Given their obvious recruiting advantages, I suspect UF won't find itself in this predicament as a program in my lifetime.

If he gets the chance, the score will be run up high.

I think we all realized last year that he took his foot off the gas to try to save the Hogfather for another year. Since that failed, he'll try to punish the new guy.
How great would it be for the rivalry, if we put in Oatmeal, let him roll out to the Gator side of the field, with a WR there or not, and let him rifle one at the Urban Crier? Just buzz the tower a little bit. Might be the play-of-the-year in the SEC. :Tomcat:

What if he floors it the whole game and Tebow gets hurt in the 4th quarter (leading, say, 38-10, or 45-3 or so)? Think of the criticism....

I think he'll pull his starters to save them from possible injury, but the reserves will be trying "mash our nose with a hobnail boot". I hope they try and I hope we have the guts to smash them back, even if we can't win the game.

No f'ing way he let's off the gas. I don't think it will even cross his mind. I do agree with Ryno that he eased up last year trying to save Foolmore, but this year he'll be out to drive point home to our new staff...
Now what I want to happen is for this game to be a rainy, smash mouth dog-fight (without a Vick in sight) and the Vols to keep it close...that way, Oscar doesn't even have a choice!

POW right in the kisser.. knock a few teeth out..
or better? Blast him so hard making a tackle on the sideline, that HIS jaw gets broke.

I think that is stupid question. Has he ever took his foot off? Why would he now with us and everything that is being hyped?

To answer that question all you have to do is look at last year's UF-UGA game.

Every big game the gator play in is an audition for the BCS. He will not 'let off' He might if we had a playoff system, but well... we dont unfortunately.
