I to am sick and tired of being divided on everything. Yeah, I made a post about leaving the website, shouldnt have done that, but when youre pissed you do things you normally wouldnt. People around here wanna say I ran off because "my boy" was being treated unfairly. Thats BS and everyone knows it. I'm just tired of Vol fans routinely shoving players under the bus, and thats what it is with Crompton. Good grief I thought the majority of that shit would fly out the door with foolmer. I thought the fan base as a whole would be able to move on. But no. Its sickening to hear people call Crompton all these names because he's not a good QB, and I think most around here would agree, but people feel the need to do it for their own reasons. Nothing good can come from it, and it gives others the impression we are divided even more than we evidently are. Arent you guys tired of being divided? Especially after we have, dear god, after all these years FINALLY gotten rid of the REAL cancer of the program, not some kid that plays QB.

Then you have those that compare Kiffin to foolmer after TWO GAMES as a coach. That right there pushed me over the edge, and I dont see how it wouldnt push EVERYONE that read that crap over the edge.

But I'm back now, and please feel free to post the usual crap here or somewhere else about me and why I said I was gonna leave, etc.

As for me Leggy, I never thought you'd stay away. You're a part of the fabric of OM; you came with the place for better or worse.
It's a message board on Tennessee football. Even in our best period of time, people were jumping all over themselves to be the first to let us know that it was going downhill sometime...even before the internets and whatnot.
We got the change we wanted, and apparently got a good coach, maybe someday a great one, and there's still folks eager to be way, way, way ahead of the curve and be the one to be first to tell us the wheels are coming off.
As for Crompton, even if he had been 31-32 for 450 yds. and 6 tds last weekend, there is a certain portion of the fanbase on this and other sites that would still be sounding the warnings that the '08 Crompton would show up any moment now. It's just who they are, and it's just how it is.

Ledge, I was pretty tore up after the game and seeing people comparing CLK to Fulmer pissed me off too. I chose to take a step back, let people vent and get my thoughts in order.
