Tennessee has invaded the state of Florida for the fifth time this season, picking up the pledge from wide out Ted Meline. InsideTennessee.com is proud to bring you this breaking news as it happens.

Meline, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound athlete who runs a 4.4 forty, chose the Volunteers over offers from Clemson, Georgia, Oregon and Purdue.

This is the fifth commitment Volunteer Coach Eddie Gran has pulled out of South Florida, its his relationship he has built with Meline that was one of the deciding factors.

"Coach Gran has been recruiting me since I was a sophomore," Meline told InsideTennessee.com. "The way Tennessee has put all those freshmen on the field and still win. I know that I would have a great chance of getting on the field early and make an impact."

According to Meline, he caused a disturbance in Knoxville Wednesday night.

"The coaching staff started throwing a party," Meline said. "Coach Kiffin and all the coaches were yelling and shouting."

While Meline is listed as a wide receiver, according to Meline the Vols are recruiting him as an athlete.

It is amazing what playing the young kids can do for the program. Also, it helps that people are finding out that CLk is not blowing smoke to the kids either.
