After watching last Saturday's game for the fourth or fifth time, I can't help but think we could be really good right now if we were special at quarterback. Phildo wasted so many good quarterbacks over the years..

1. Manning (no brainer)

2. The Iceman (Watching his baby brother play Nevada on one of the HD channels right now who looks terrific)

3. The Ainge (Totally Flummoxed by Phil)

4. T-Rob (Off the field problems not withstanding)

5. Shuler (Maybe not perfect for the system but immensely talented)

6. Andy (Honorable Mention)

Casey Clausen with proper coaching (re: not Flummo and his good ol' boys) wins 2 SEC championships around here. Minimum. And develops into a first-round pick.

Ainge without the dumbass ND play in '04 and with a bit of coaching was a top 10 NFL pick.

He went from a "FUCK YOU" QB to a "FUCK ME" QB in one damn play.

Screw QB's though. Imagine what this staff could've done with Derrick Tinsley!

Seriously:
I recall Tee Martin having success with a team that could run the hell out of the ball and play tough D.
Peyton is too easy of an answer, when would any sane human being NOT want him running their offense?
I have it on good authority that TRob was doing some serios blazing before he got hurt, don't know when he started dealin' coke though.

Point of order Mr. Chairman, motion to change the topic of this thread to your all time fave at the QB position… that's really what we're talking about here.

With that in mind:

Condredge Holloway & Heath Shuler; I loved watching those two make something out of nothing.

You know damn well he can give UCLA hell.

My second choice would be Burney Veazey, then Bo Hardegree, then whoever the hell that KY HS QB was that could throw a football through the uprights from the fifty yard line while on his knees.

Schuler or tee martin, and of course manning.
