...More pussies got bruised today thanks to Mr. Kiffin...
From GoVolsXtra Aricle:
Western Kentucky is no stranger to the rigors of SEC competition, having played five other SEC teams over the past six years, including losses to Alabama (41-7) and Kentucky (41-3) last season.
UT, however, went about things differently than Alabama did last season.
"Alabama, once they got up after the first quarter (17-0), their first-team offensive line came out of the game in the second quarter,'' WKU defensive end Jared Clendenin said. "Tennessee kept their starters in. I guess they were trying to prove something and make a statement.
"They had to try to run the score up.''
Insulted: Junior linebacker Thomas Majors said Kiffin insulted the Hilltoppers when the Vols attempted to convert a fourth-and-4 at their own 46 with a 28-0 lead and 13:07 left in the third quarter.
"We took it as an insult,'' said Majors, from Maplewood High School in Nashville. "And I told our guys to take it as an insult and stop them.''
