Compact car?


One man died when he was apparently thrown from his car in an early morning crash in Kailua-Kona early this morning, the Big Island fire department said in a news release.

The incident was reported at about 1 a.m. at Kealakehe Parkway, just mauka of Highway 19. When firefighters arrived they found a four-door compact car with its roof torn off on the road and the victim lying dead in the road.

The news release said the car was apparently heading towards Highway 19 when it went off the road and hit a concrete barrier and construction equipment. Police were investigating

Ghenghis is just as sad this guy passed as anyone else who doesn't know him from shit, other that he played for the Vols.

The point was just about the post mortem elevation of this player by the hand wringers on Volshat. It just reeks of insincerity and G points this out.

Let's not make more of someone in death, than they were in life. Mahalona's main claim to fame was wearing an ill fitting helmet for two years because of the incompetence of the Fulmeritas, and being part of the 2005 disaster team.

I'm sure he was a great guy, but he wasn't a "Vol Saint".

They say Mahelona was driving west on Kealakehe Parkway when he ran off the left side of the road and struck some construction equipment.

Police say he was not wearing his seatbelt and flew out of the car.

They also believe speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.

Thurs nite? I was out with some friends having a good time, I did catch part of the Boise game, both those teams kind of sucked..good win for Boise I guess..first ever win over a ranked team at home!!! now they have as many wins vs BCS conference teams as troy! Good job! Oregon's coach kind of sucks too...
