If you're asking because the Yuku and Scout full-page look allowed you see what messages are new to a thread since you last read it, this board offers similar capabilities. For one thing, the thread title itself will appear in bold if there's anything new. Once inside the thread, look at the threaded view at the top and the new messages will be represented by ivory-colored folders.

One more trick - after reading a thread instead of using the Back key to return to the main page where all the threads are listed, click on the name of the forum at the top of the page (e.g. Outer MonVOLia (http://outermonvolia.net/board/index.php) > Outer MonVOLia (http://outermonvolia.net/board/forumdisplay.php?f=1) > General Khanversation (http://outermonvolia.net/board/forumdisplay.php?f=3)). This will cause the page to be refreshed and that will in turn cause the bold or unbolding that will tell you what thread(s) have unread message(s) in them.
