Rich Brooks should be shot.

Fugate, who has 4.6 speed to go with his size and strength, is effective smashing inside and sprinting outside.

"He has an exciting style," Holcomb said. "Starting out, he follows his blocks, but when he gets in the open he has great vision, makes timely cuts and is very elusive. He's also good catching the ball."

UT saw all those qualities when Fugate performed in a summer camp, and promptly asked him if he wanted to play hybrid fullback for the Vols.

"I couldn't pass it up; it was the biggest offer I got," Fugate said.

What about UK?

"I must just not fit in their system," he said.

He looks like he could be the football Chris Lofton. Hopefully, he'll be just as successful. Unfortunately, not too many up there in KY will notice once Midnight Madness hits under Cheatapari.

Watching this kids videos , shows that Kenfucky really missed out on a great player , i can not remember us having a white running back since Greg Amsler , not that i care what colour he his , just saying and that was back in thr 80s , nearly forgot about Bartholemew , anyhow there have been few and far between . :appl:

White players. I love all of them, black or white, but I think for balance, in spite of Tenn Stud, it is a good thing. I remember the Kozars and Crossville Flash, so, there must be a few great "white" players out there for skilled positions that can help the Vols. Good for CLK to jump on it.
