Great insight into how Orgeron's operates as a recruiter. Mentions Tennessee WR coach Frank Wilson a pretty good bit as Wilson was an assitant to Orgeron at Ole Miss. I'll say this: Orgeron may not be head coaching material, but when it comes to recruiting...well...we've got the best there is boys and girls.

The book should be required reading before anyone is qualified to discuss recruiting. I just preordered clay Travis's new book on the fall of Phildo, that ought to be good for a chuckle or two I'm sure.

CV, I just read it recently and gave it to Ghengy to read. It should be required reading for any Vol fan. He's is a recruiting monster and there's not a player in the country he doesn't think he can land, no matter what they've said or who they have already committed to. He takes no prisoners.

The stroy about him losing his job at Miami and what he did to get back in the coaching game tells you all u need to know about O.

He lives to recruit and coach and HATES to lose.

Enjoyed Meat Market.CEO is both a great recruiter & "D"line coach.Who knows he may get another opportunity as H/C if the Vols win a couple of SECCs in the next 5 years. If not then hhe can become our "D"coord..When Monty leaves........grandpa

much about our 10th ranked class is lower than a 5th ranked class and once we win on the field it will rise. I've noticed that a lot of guys mention we're the first to offer as well and then they end up with a lot of good offers. And, no other team's commitments are safe until the LOI.
