Clicked on your link and see he is from Olive Branch where UT (thru no fault of the coaches) MAY not be on good terms:

1) Marlon Walls was told by some academic support fool (who had since then been fired or moved along) that all was hunky dory to just up and quit his Prep School after one semester, and just take some Online courses in order to get eligible. Now, of course, the Clearinghouse see's a guy who wasn't bright enough to get into UT as a Fr, then a guy who quits school and takes Online fooking courses and they laugh at this. But apparently it was some UT official who told him to do this and all would be well.

2) Lazy assed Aubrey Phillips was a UT commit until all of a sudden turning to where he didn't like UT. Went to FSU and was run off over the summer for being lazy and out of shape. Word I hear is that the UT coaches STRONGLY suggested to this lazy ass that he was too fat and out of shape if he wanted to play at UT. This, of course, was the TRUTH but you never know how this was presented to other guys at Olive Branch by fat assed Aubrey. Now logic says that FSU did exactly what UT said they would do- work his ass off to get him into shape, but a lazy assed guy like Aubrey may have been around Olive Branch dissing both UT and FSU which both coaching staffs would have to explain to Olive Branch recruits.

Neither issue above is a deal breaker but combined they could put some doubt in a 17 y/o's mind unless the cold truths are really explained.

My understanding is that Latrell Scott got him signed up for Hargrave but the courses were not going to help him get entrance. I think it was Coach O who had him drop out of Hargrave and take the online classes.
