Doubt we're gonna get much love in the coaches poll. Kiff has pissed off about 1/2 of them and the other half are jealous of him.

I thought that was funny too, considering last year we basically lined up and just ran the ball with no passing threat to speak of, and still whipped their ass.

They were 7-6 last year though, and we were 5-7. Got to look at a team's overall body of work.

The perennially over-rateds in the pre-season have to get their moment
of glory before reality sets in, usually by the first week in October.

But we got more votes than Michigan. That has to really piss off those losers. They headed into - what? - their third year of rebuilding while we're heading into our first year after the previous regime ran the program completely into the ground and yet we get twice as many votes as they do? I love it.
