Can someone explain (in plain English) how to play Fantasy football? It always seems too complicated for me and I lose interest quickly.

Must be a woman thing. :kos:

Simply put, you pick offensive positions, a defense in a draft before the season, and start a team based on whom you think will do well that week. The players you start score points based on how many tds, yards, etc they have. Defense scores more if they allow less yards, scoring, etc. If the guy you are playing has less points that week than you, you win.

The key is to draft consistent players, especially at QB, RB, and WR

Nope - as one of the few OM women, I've infiltrated the secret world of fantasy football!! Don't worry, guys, I've only played a couple of times before - didn't win, but I didn't lose, either :coolg: I'm also in an NFL fantasy league that's half men and half women, so there are a few of us out there...

Dont feel bad. i always lose interest by October. Look, I like to sleep in on the weekend, and getting up early to obsess over whether or not some 3rd teamer from cleveland is injured or not is just not going to happen.

I have done well in several survivor leagues though. You just make a couple of picks during each week. Low commitment.
