U. S. Senior Open

This year's Senior Open at Crooked Stick has two amatuers from Tennessee playing - Danny Green and Tim Jackson. Tim just turned 50 which made him eligible for the tournament. He shot 6 under today and is tied for the lead. He birdied five holes on the front nine - his second nine. He was 1 under on the outward nine.

He shot three under on the last day of the Sou Am at Colonial South. He has the game to really do good in the tournament. I'm pulling for him.

Tim is a great player... I have played with Danny Green and have known him for years...His brother Benji use to be my neighbor. Danny has the best short game I have ever seen..
