Golf on TV.....Bullsh$t

I love golf.....I USE to love watching golf on TV...BUT...I am tired of all the interviews....special interest stories...commericals.....golf tips....shot links...etc.....show me FREAKING GOLF Dammit.....I timed it....you see about 18 minutes of golf out of a hour...they are losing me real quick.... I'm starting to tape it so I can watch the actual golf.... Am I alone on this??

I got the celebrity charity thing on the DVR, so I could watch Barkley, Jordan, etc. and that had a surprising amount of actual golf. I guess bad golf by celebs beats good golf by the pros.
Networks do pander too much to the non-golf crowd, but then again, if Tiger's not in it, not many watch it. I guess the nets hope that if you watch a profile on an unknown or barely known pro, you'll watch more often. There's really not enough personalities that shine through on the tour. Not like the "old" days.
