Dear Mr. Steele:

This letter is in response to the survey recently sent to me. I thought it best to write a letter since the survey is so biased that anyone with an IQ over 50 can plainly understand that it is worthless.

The same pretentious and arrogant attitude that characterizes the Republican party leadership is evident in the production of this survey. I believe you people must think the American people are a collection of dim witted stooges that have short memories.

Just what party was in power when the economy of this country began its downhill slide? Look in the mirror, it was you wasteful and neglectful Republicans. I don’t know if the Democrats can reverse the damage but I am certain that John McCain and the Republicans would have magnified the problems.

I generally vote Republican and I guess this is how my name was picked up by whoever created the mailing list for this survey. I have decided upon a new strategy in my voting preferences. I have decided not to vote for any incumbent that was in office from 2008 and back. This goes for Republicans, Democrats, Green Party and Independents and anything thing else running for political office at any level. Do I make myself clear?

If you have gotten this far, there is one more point I would like to make. To ask the American people for donations is laughable at best and shows how far you people are out of touch with reality. You owe us money for wrecking the worlds greatest economy and putting 10% of the American work force out of a job.

Please remove my name from any and all mailing lists that you possess. The money saved in postage will be better spent in paying for your excessive travel costs on your junkets.

Sincerely,

aadicof

Anyone who voted for either Obama or McCain has a fairly low IQ to begin with.

I think we need a new political party. There isn't one that believes in free markets or liberty anymore. The Republicans are Socialist-lite these days. The Democrats are full on Marxists and are not even hiding it. None of them believe in anything the founding fathers believed in. The electorate as currently comprised wouldn't stand for it if they did since it would get in the way of their getting the goodies that they want stolen from their neighbors.

These are truly interesting times. Short of an insurrection or a major sea change in the next election I think we see the US turn into some version of one of the failed European welfare states. That is certainly the plan. I wouldn't care so much if I didn't have a daughter and if I weren't young enough to know that I will experience the tender clutches of socialized medicine in my waning years. As it is there is simply no where to run. There is no where that I can send my daughter to be free like the the Jews sent their children to England or the US in the 1940's.

Now that success or failure will increasingly be determined by government bureaucrats and political affiliation instead of merit or hard work, and now that resources will be doled out based on the application of force rather than upon free-will and trade I am seriously thinking of joining the Democratic party. Why the fuck would I bust my ass running a small business and trying to please my customers when, if I know the right people in government, they can simply hand me a check or write some regulations to make me wealthy? Or alternatively, when I know they can destroy me with impunity if I am on the wrong side? Either way, they will certainly be confiscating more of my earnings so each marginal dollar is worth much, much less to me.

Anyone would be a fool to tilt against such a windmill... or a patriot.

A most thoughtful response O.

Our party has been hijacked, I dont have a solution for it and I'm not very optomistic that we can ever recover to what I consider to be true Republican ideals.

BTW, to all the onlookers....I'm not a fucking lib.

There was an SASE included but they were asking that the respondee use a stamp to save the RNC the postage. Absolutely classless.

That is one of the least intelligent posts that I've read on OM in some time.Either bring the level up or I'll fix them for you.

Nope, I just calls em like I sees em. Hey, you ought to thank me. It was looking kinda homo-erotic in this forum with you and chi being the only contributing members jerking each other off every four days.

If you werent always setting the intelligence level so high, mabye more people would join in the fun! JMHO

It seems the only conservatives left are Southern Republicans. The South must have been ultimately right!
