fathers day... I got stuck behind some fucking stupid ass, slow ass players, and once again it totally took me off my game pace and ruined my fucking round... Other than whacking balls at the morons, anyone got suggestions on how to deal with jagoffs, and the rangers were non existent. :cop:

Just bring a lot of beer and funny friends. It makes the waiting a lot more tolerable.

Makes me fucking insane! Nobody has any manners or understands golf etiquette anymore.

Had a father in law once who was in his 70's, scratch golfer, and he would just hit into the sumbitches, call them everything in the book, drive around them after they tee'd off and run over all their balls then stop and ask them who wanted their ass whooped first. Goddamn I miss that guy.

Most of the time this comes from people who play golf about one time per year and have no idea about the rules of golf...there has been several times I have asked if we could play through...because we had a wedding, funeral, meeting, etc...to go too....I never had one to tell me no......if that does not work however....read G's post reply:)

Why in such a hurry? I've never understood why people that play Golf get so upset when people in front of them arent moving fast enough as if they are in a race or something.

Youre no fucking good anyway. Just enjoy the day and quit looking at your watch every 15 seconds.

Its the reason to play at a private club. At a private club, primary members get the early tee times for this very reason. The earlier you play anywhere, you will find the faster golfers. Private clubs generally do not allow guests on the weekends until after 1, no non-primary members (see how I can dodge saying women and children?) until after 11.

Players at all levels can play a foursome within four hours. The reason they do not is a lack of understanding of the game and watching tour pros take a week to pull back the stroke on a putter. Shut up on the greens and the tee, do your chatting between shots. Shooting the shit on the tee box is the major slowdown in the game.

Long rounds- over four hours- are ruining the game. So for those of you who like to play slow, do not go to Scotland. Your ass will be removed from the grounds before you see the 4th tee box.....a method of control that needs to be implemented here.

Leggo, we're talking about real golf not putt putt shut up...

Exactly, and coming from a guy that suffers road rage like Toonie. Well I got golf rage from motherfuckers that take 20 practice swings and line up putts like they were playing for the Masters championship.

Oh man that scramble I played in a few weeks ago we WERE the slow team. I hated it. The guys I was with were oblivious to it, even when the ranger came by and tried to hustle us up. I only play acouple times a year but I know enough to STFU and swing.

Btw, a shout out to my dad who shot a 73 at our local course a couple days ago. Woot!

If you're on a short par 4 blasting a fucking drive on their heels while they are taking their short shots can be a way to drop a hint.

Flopps is right, almost all courses want youto keep up the the group in front of you. Well, right after they get in the carts from hitting their second shot, let it fly.... Then if they dont get the hint, call the club house on your cellphone and tell them to get someone out there or just skip onto the next hole.

I think I saw one of the most irritating slow play modes this weekend. There was a threesome out playing the longest tees and it looked like only 1 out of 3 tee shots made it past the women's tees. The sliceomatic and shankapotomous were humming. These goobers had people backed up all over the course. I am not a good golfer by any means but I at least have enough sense to realize that I do not need to be playing from the big boy tees.
