I know he is a Bama commit, but maybe they are backing off of him. Rob Lewis over on Volquest said that UT wasn't even recruiting Malone. He stated that the offer that was listed on Rivals was from the old staff, and that the new staff has never showed any interest in him.

We may be looking at a potential non-qualifier here. Jimi is right, the kid can play, but he must also be able to get in school.

Might be time for Little Nicky to orchestrate another bump. I mean, it might be time that he accidently runs into the kid in the hallway. I mean, maybe he should call the coach and get the kid to walk down a certain street, so Little Nicky can drive by, honk, and wave.
Sorry, I forget sometimes that Little Nicky violates no rules...even when a recruit accidently rats him out.

According to a video on the Ole Miss Scout front page, he is not solid for Bama. In fact he has reopened his recruitment. Course who should I believe, you or him? :rotfl:

Actually, according to the front page of Scout, it says, "One of Memphis' top athletes committed to Alabama shortly after signing day but it looks like he has open up his options after attending the Ole Miss Passing Camp today. To watch the video interview that took place with Scout.com today, watch below." I don't subscribe to Scout, so I couldn't actually see the video. Are you a subscriber, and can you supply the alleged quote?

On the other hand, here is a quote from Rivals, straight from Malone himself, in a June 7 article, after his visit to Ole Miss: ""I am still solid to Bama and they are my top school. I had planned all along to take some visits and Ole Miss was one of those schools," Malone said. "They have great staff and school, but I am still committed to Bama.""

Did you actually see the video on Scout yourself, or are you paraphrasing Yancey Porter's embellishment of a video? You ask if we should believe Malone. Absolutely. Malone says he is still solid Alabama.
