Can Tenn enroll more than 25 next year by enrolling some in January and then 25 on signing day? If so, how many can they bring in January? Thanks

with the new 28 rule, they can only sign max of 28 next February. start there.

Of course they can bring in as many as possible in January to go through spring practice.

As far as what can be back counted from 2010 to this 2009 class, depends.

we signed 23 in 2009. We are looking to sign Lamaison for 2009 which puts us at 24.

We had 4 players enroll in Janaury. We had 84 on the roster last fall. That means 1 of the 24 or 4 early enrollees can be back counted on 2008 class.

That leaves 23 in the 2009 class as far as head count. IF all get into school this fall, then we have 2 spots available for back counting in the 2009 class from the 2010 signees. I'm certain we will have plenty of space on 2009 roster this fall under the 85 number.

That would be my understanding of how the numbers work.
