Like I know what I'm talking about.

- Bruce had this team prepared and ready to play. We exploited them all over the floor. We had set plays that worked. We attacked the zone and the press effectively. Besides the strategy, we were mentally ready. When we are mentally ready, we are pretty good. Bruce must have given a pre-game speech to rival the "Gipper."

- This was no doubt "one of those games." So we probably shouldn't get too excited. But it was a hell of a game.

- Had to love the reference to Gen. Nathan Bedford Forrest by Bob Knight. He quoted Gen. Forrest's famous saying, "Get there first with the most" after another play when we had the numbers on a fast break. (BTW, did some research on this quote, and Forrest never said, "Get there firstest with the mostest.")

- Brian Williams played great and did not overdo things. He kept things simple, which is what he has to do.

- We played tough and crashed the boards very hard.

- Tournament basketball is going to be tougher. More half-court games. But if we are mentally ready, we should have a chance. Bruce has to find a way to get this team up for every remaining game.

- I can't remember seeing as much four corners and stalling since the shot clock came into the game. Brings back memories of the old days.

- Long live the headbands! Long live the alley-oops!
