My Pops got a new Ping G10 driver and let me swing it. Day-um!

Knocked the piss outta the ball and it felt gooooood.

Knocked the piss outta the ball and it felt gooooood.

Last year when I was playing regularly I hit one at Edwin Watts in the little swing room that tells you distance, spin rate, and what not. The G10 outdid every driver I hit and I STILL bought a Nike.

When I think Ping I just think of putters.

One of them square Sasquatch deals. Played with it twice and gave it to my cousin. Just cuddnt stand the way the damn thing sounded.

Currently I'm playing with a 1990 Callaway Model with 13 degrees of loft that isnt much bigger than a 3 wood, and I hit the damn thing straight as an frickin' arrow, but only about 260. And thats fine. I shot a 73 this evening. Its a miracle what can happen when youre hitting out of the fairway.

If I could ever figger out what to do from 100 yards in I would be dangerous.

Yeah, all the new stuff sounds ridiculous. But I have to have it, I can't hit the old stuff.

Although I do still have my favorite driver ever. A Ping TiSi Tec....I LOVE htting that thing, just don't know where it's going half the time....but when I hit it right, it's pretty as all hell.
