Guys, if the Vols play like this down the stretch, they'll make a real sweet run in the tournament. Vols looked great tonight. Pearl is a helluva coach! 3 SECE championships in 4 years. It's just the beginning!

As this should be Post #1 for me in this new format - and thank you to Blackie for helping me reach the promised land after unsuccessful attempts to re-register (99% of them, I'm convinced, were my own ignorance) - what a way to begin!

I didn't get to see much of the game tonight but when I heard the ESPN score update in the car, I was sure - absolutely CERTAIN - the guy had to be wrong. I heard him say that the Vols were up 18. Say what??

If we're finally starting to gel, it makes no difference that it took most of the regular season. As long as it's before the SEC Tourney and March Madness, I'm good with that.

Speaking of which - have any of you been mulling around the idea that maybe, just maybe, this is the year we break through in the SEC and/or NCAA Tourneys? I only say that because there are no logical reasons that suggest we're gearing up for great runs. Every year, especially since Bruce arrived, I approach the SEC party as though FINALLY, this will be the year we make noise. Same for the Big Dance.

Just curious what others' thoughts might be.

I don't want to get my hopes up too much, but I think we have just played our best 2 games - this team may be starting to peak at the right time.
