Couple of questions:

1) When I post a Reply inside a thread it finishes with me still inside that thread. I like it the way the old board did when I made a reply post- it refreshed me back to the main page of Gen Khan or Fast Lane. As it is now, I have to go to your Link pull down menu in the right lower part of the page after each post in order to get back to the main Forum page I was on before posting. Is there a way to fix this?

2) When I want to reply to a specific post inside of a thread then I can only see where you click "Quote" in order to do so. I then Cut the quote and type my reply to that particular post. The old board had a simple "Reply" button that would NOT include the other persons Quote NOR would it fill in the previous Title which I also have to Cut if I want to type a different Title in my post.

3) I personally would still like to see the Christmas tree like Thread on my Front Page so I can see all the reply's (and new reply's since I read last) without having to click on every Thread Title to see what is underneath it. I didn't mind going over to the 2nd page but it was much better IMO to see all the replies under a new thread just like we used to have and VolChat has. Maybe that is just me but I could get a much quicker idea what was being discussed and by who.

AV, I'm gonna leech off your thread and ask about the colors of the orange. They are perfect for the site menu and posting (Reply, etc.) headers, but when reading the actual threads, each post header is an atrocious shade of red-orange. I loves me some orange, but that second color looks like smithy in a blender.

I only had 5 minutes, so I fixed VaVol's gripe... AV, I'll look at your list later tonight and see what I can do.

A little help for number 2: It's already there, you just havent noticed it. You have 3 reply options which all tell you what they do when you mouse over them.

The button that says 'Quote' sticks the whole post you are responding to in a quote, then sticks your reply underneath it.

The next button (with the plus sign and the closing quotation mark) is for a 'multi quote' reply. Hell if I know what that means, I've never used it.

The last button (with the paper and pencil icon) is just to reply to a specific post without any quotes.

Is there a way to fix this? The default intention of viewing these forums in hybrid view is a "surfing" method... this means you go back where you were in case you want to respond to another in the thread. Below the quick reply box are Previous and Next thread links. You can use these to go through the threads, look at the tree and decide where to pipe in. The folder view at the top of the page also lets you navigate quickly. If you click the first Outer MonVOLia, you get the main index. The second OuterMonVOLia just shows the classic boards from Fast Lane down to Pearl Jam or so. The third takes you back to the particular board index. As I type this, I see General Khanversation. The last link takes you back to the beginning of the thread. This is useful for a 50 post or more thread where you get lost. Is there a way to fix it? No, not really.

I use the quick reply most of the time

1) I am trying the Quick Reply feature but I don't see where it has a Post Title. Is there a way to do a Quick reply but also add a Title Line where you can post "That's BS" or "I Agree" or whatever?

2) If you can noodle out a way to take you back to Gen Khan or Fast Lane once you have made a post on one of those Forums then it would be nice rather than having to scroll to the bottom for a Pull Down Menu or to the Top and click on OM or Gen Khan or whatever. The way it is now requires you to actually do something as described but also requires your browser to go load a new page. I like it where it just automatically puts you back to the main forum page where you started.

3) Too bad the Christmas Tree thread view isn't an option and especially with all the replies in a thread have Re: ######### where it is cut and pasted. I like the ability to go see Titles easily within a thread so I can pick out certain post rather than wading thru a long thread.

I did the Quick Reply and it automatically put the Original Title in my title line above. So this relates to #1 above. Would be nice to do a Quick Reply and be able to put your own title to your post.
