Anyone ever watch CMT's "CrossRoads" series?

The concept is to take current "country muswic" stars and pair them with a similarly styled rock/pop star from the 1980's-90's. They sing one another's songs, with an emphasis on the current "country music" star's music.

Some of the pairings have included Taylor Swift and Def Leppard, Keith Urban and John Fogerty. Martin aMcBride and Pat Benetar, Sugarland and Bon Jovi, Wynona and Heart.

...I downloaded "Raising Sand" a few months ago and at first it was just ok but it's really grown on me. The "Crossroads" episode was really good, especially when she sang "When the Levee Breaks" and the duet of Black Dog. He did well on "The Boy Who Wouldn't Hoe Corn".

I think they're doing another album.

I liked the Keith Urban/John Fogerty show. I have seen bits and pieces of some of the others. It is a good idea but it is a shame that classic rock has been banished from MTV, VH1, etc. and sent to purgatory on CMT. I hate most of the crap (rap-short for crap) on MTV and VH1.

I love the idea behind CrossRoads. I just wish that they would stress the older music from the pop/rock side. Of course, then it would not be CMT would it?
