Obama and his cohort Rahm Emmanuel leaked some information to a blogger that says that Limbaugh is and has been on their enemy list.
Remember that the media was outraged when Richard Nixon had an enemy list, that was comprised of media networks and people?
Now Obama is targeting private citizens as enemies and there is no media outrage?
Rush Limbaugh Responds To Story Leaked To Blogger By Obama Administration That Targets Limbaugh As Enemy#1 (http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_030409/content/01125106.guest.html)
Limbaugh took Obama to the woodshed and how!

Marxism is extreme liberalism.
Fascist nations are defined by control of the government by a oligarchy of party elites and wealthy corporate elites. You know, like Wall Street and Republicans.
Wow, is that why George Bush's Grandfather was charged with aiding Nazi Germany during World War II under the trading with the enemy laws? Good Republicans and Nazi Fascist sympathizers, those Bushes.

Or, like Wall Street and Democrats. Or like the lending industry and Democrats, or the lending industry and Republicans. Or unions and Democrats. The lists go on and on to infinity, they are ALL corrupt as hell; and there really is not much of any reason to insult anyone by arguing otherwise.
This is another reason for my total apathy, by the way. Its either going to work or it's not. If it works, I'm a happy camper. If it doesnt, then it was a necessary evil to clean the cesspool.

How is this going to help unite the country?

Radcons like to promote the fallacy that all the political extremes are products of liberalism. It's simply a huge lie.
Extremist conservatism is Fascism.
Extremist liberalism is Marxism/Communism.
There is no such thing as "liberal fascism". It doesn't exist and has never existed.

Dont care, that was not my point. Quibbling over meaningless labels (meaningless because they lack any common definition in any particular argument) is an exercise in stupidity. You want to say extreme liberalism is Marxism alone, extreme conservatism is Fascism alone...well, whatever. That's fine. Who cares, they both suck.
My point is simply that Dems are just as in bed with 'evil corporations' (or whatever the hell it was you said) as Republicans are. The idea that the culture of corruption exists on only one side of the isle is a lie (yes, an actual bona-fide LIE...not an error). Anyone who actually believes otherwise is either a complete and total fool, or just intentionally obtuse. As such, the method by which you chose to differentiate between the two...even if the IDEA you are arguing is accurate... is meaningless. Your statement may be correct, but your argument is not.
They all get in bed with the devil to get elected. Its the only way to get money and/or influence, and since you pretty much need money and/or influence to get in the game nobody is above it even if they wanted to be (and most dont; it's actually getting to the point where they damn near flaunt it).

I'm not trying to unite the country here, so I really don't know. I never said it would.
Hell, I'm not certain what anyone really means with what a 'united' country would actually be, that we are not already; much less if it would even be possible. I mean, it's not like we are at war shooting our neigbors as it is...so that can't possibly be what 'United' is supposed to mean. And, surely, united doesnt mean 'everybody agrees'. We arent supposed to all agree. Civil disagreement is pretty much the entire point in our two party system. Is United supposed to mean 'one party'? If so...well...no thanks.

no no, I meant by him attacking Rush how is this going to help undivide the nation? (I'm in the other viewing mode so I probably clicked quick reply on the last post) Note you can still have your disagreements but still retain your individuality. I just don't think it's a wise move to go after a talk show host.

I dont disagree it is a bad idea. I do disagree, however, that 'unity' is anywhere remotely near the point of the attack.
