And how long have you had em?

Me:

Driver: Titleist 905T, 9.5* with a Graphite Design YS-6 stiff
3W: Cleveland Launcher Titanium 13* with the OEM gold staff, stiff
Fairway Hybrid: Sonartec 17* MD1i, OEM reg shaft
Fairway Hybrid: Sonartec 21* MD1i, OEM reg shaft
Irons (5i-GW) - MacGregor Tourney VIP, 50* GW, rifle stiff shafts
SW - Cleveland 588 gunmetal, 56*
putter - Taylor Made Rossa Monza Spider
ball - I live on a fairway lot so I play what I find in my backyard a lot of the time, as long as they're not rocks or beat up.

Except for the putter which I got at the beginning of last year, I've been pretty good about sticking with this setup. The irons were one of the earlier forged/cavity back designs that I really like. Couldn't go back to a cast cavity back if I wanted to.

The Sonartecs have a pretty low trajectory so I'll swap them out for my 3 & 4 irons if playing on soft/slow fairways.

Irons 2-9 - Air Bears with extra long and extra stiff shafts.

PW, SW - Ping Eye 2

Putter - Ping Anser

Woods - Bob's Discount's House Label - won in a long drive contest.

Ball - Slazenger

Driver-TaylorMade 580XD, 9.5 loft
3w-TaylorMade
5w-Tommy Armour 845
2H-Adams Tight Lies
4-PW irons-Tommy Armour 845s (next thing to switch)
SW-Cleveland 588 gunmetal
Putter-some Two-ball rip-off from Sports Authority that I might keep forever.
Ball-playing a grab bag of mostly Pro V1's a ranger friend sold me, but it has a bit of everything. When I was buying them, I generally played Callaways.

I'll have to get back to playing more than three or four times a year to upgrade to better stuff.

Driver = Taylor Made r7 9.5 w/ Aldila shaft (Although I do admit to playing w/ my Orlimar 420cc hipTi non-conforming stick from time to time -- Hottest driver I've ever hit)

3w = Titleist 904F w/ Aldila shaft

Irons = Ping G2 3-PW

SW = Cleveland 588

LW = Ping Zing beryllium copper 60 degree

Putter = Odyssey White Hot XG w/ UT grip

Ball = Mainly Pro V's.. But have no shame admitting that I hit the Top Flight D2 Feel from time to time...

3-P Irons are Snake Eyes 600XC Forged Left Handed 1 1/2" overlength 5 degrees upright, Stiff True Temper Gold Steel Shafts

Wedges Snake Eyes Forged 52, 56, 60 degree. Overlength and upright.

2 iron is a Ping from a few years back overlength and upright (Maroon lie).

3, 5 woods are Snake Eyes Viper. True Temper Steel Shaft

Driver Snake Eyes Python 10.5 degree with the "Blue" shaft. This is the only club I have with graphite. Anyone who says these Volkswagons on a stick dont help is crazy.

Putter is an old Wilson TPA XVIII.

All clubs are left handed. That is my handicap.

Balls I play are whatever I find at the Germantown CC (Filled my shag bag there last year and found about a dozen Pro V's or Cheap softer balls I buy.

Had these clubs about a year. Before that I playe Golfsmith AZTour models I made myself. Anyone know a Lefty the needs some cheap clubs let me know.

Driver- Wilson Killer Whale (had it for over a decade and don't play enough to warrant a new one)
3W- Taylor Made
Irons- King Cobra
Putter- Zebra mallet head (not that it matters)

8.5 degree R7 TP- Speeder 757
13 degree Sonartec-vista pro 80 Pure (custom)
18 degree Tour Edge Exotic Hybrid 85
3-W Hogan Apex Irons 2001 model (custom)
52 Vokey
56 Vokey
8802

Iron changes I make every 8-10 years, driver and three wood every 4-5, wedges every two years except I will buy several of each this year as this is the last year of the grooves currently used being manufactured. Putter, I try some new concoction every year (Yes two years ago, that spider thing last year) always end up staying with the 8802.

There is a club and a shaft that can pretty much fix anything...but once you find it- tinker not too often.

1-SW Big Bertha copycats
Driver, 3w, 5w Big Bertha copycat
Putter: some Fuzzy Zoeller thing I bought at K Mart

Had them for about...uh...15 years or so. I have no intention of spending any money on more clubs, nor do I have any intention of ever getting my handicap under the 18 it's at now. I'm the guy you want playing on your best ball team: I hit my driver like John Daly and putt like a champ, plus you get a great handicap bonus for your team...just dont expect me to even hit the damn ball off the fairway.

Driver--Taylor Made Burner Bubble 9.5 degree, stiff
2 Wood--Callaway Big Bertha, Memphis 10 shaft (best shafts I've ever used)
5 Wood--Callaway Big Bertha
3-SW--Tommy Armour 845s
Putter--Titleist Scotty Cameron Laguna, gun blue finish.
The putter was bought about 1995. The rest were bought before then. There may be better stuff out there, but I don't play as much as I used to. If I don't make the shots, I can't blame these clubs.

3-S- Snake Eyes my brother in law made.

5W & Putter- Knight- made by Billy Club. I bought that set at Sams. First ever set.

Driver- Big Bertha Warbird. Many years old. Shaft is cut down an inch to make it easier to hit out of the fairway.

Got an L-wedge that's Golfsmith I think? Made by my brother in law again.

Considering buying a set of Ping Eye 2s, but I'd have to commit to playing more often to do so.

Use to play several times a week, but down to just a few times a year for the past 4 years.

In the Bag (Lefty Here)-Bought most of my clubs off of EBay

Tommy Aaron graphite 3 wood

Tommy Armour graphite 3 hybrid
Callawy Big Bertha graphite 1 iron (will probably ditch this thing)
Tommy Armour 855s steel shaft 2 iron (thought about having this converted to graphite shaft)
Tommy Aaron grahite 3 iron reshafted with golf pride graphite shaft-love this club
Tommy Aaron graphite 4 iron (original shaft)
Tommy Aaron graphite 5 iron with Golf Pride graphite shaft and Callaway grip
6, 7, 8, 9, PW, SW-Tommy Armour steel shaft 855s

I know this sounds like an odd mix of Brands (Aaron and Armour) and shafts but if you want to know why I can explain but it is a long story.

Putter-Old Spalding putter with heavy feel. Looks like something you would have found at Sears or Penneys back in the 50s or 60s. I really like this Putter. Bought it for $20 from a guy that I took some lessons from.

A telescoping ball plucker thingy.

Benadryl (for bee stings)

Snacks

Extra shirt and socks

An old Top Flite Divot tool that a friend gave me.

Balls-I play with what I find. My wife and I own a cabin on a golf course in Townsend and have found hundreds of balls playing the course or walking in the evenings. I like the Callaway HX hot, Callaway Cx 3 hot, 2 piece Pinnacles, Bridgestone, and I like the the Titech Beta LS for trouble shots around water, woods, creeks, ditches, etc. I usually carry a mint Pro V I or Callaway I Tour to putt with. (I know that is technically against the rules but I have only been playing for a couple of years and ain't exactly on the tour yet). In other words, I am what most would call a hacker.

Accuity Bag (Cheapo)

I prefer to walk when I can and use a Sun Mountain V2 three wheel push cart. This thing paid for itself in less than a year.

I would spend money for a nice set of clubs but I am still trying to learn to play golf and it can be quite comical at times. I broke a couple of shafts trying to learn how to swing. I don't really know what to buy that would best fit me. Being a lefty, I can't just try out a golf partner's club as all of the people I play with are rightys.

bag of wooden tees.
divot tools I have like three or four of them.

oh and my A game.. :-)

My strong part of my game is my mid to short game, I was ok before but now I can pretty much dance on my second short or for sure on my third. I normally end up with a 10 foot put or less. I can putt my butt off. I pretty much live for golf, and tell my wife often, when I have my mid life crisis, its going to be golf.

I remember it was an innovation but cannot remember its "remedy"???

Anyone want a real nice TM Rossa Monza for cheap?

I picked up one of this year's new Ping Craz-E models, the one with the weights you can adjust. Don't think I'll be adjusting anything, this thing is pure b-u-t-t-u-h.
