This has not been collaborated but so far my informants have been 100 percent correct.
Greg King has left Knoxville with his mother and has headed back to memphis. I'd say the chances he will be back are, at best, 50/50. Walls has an attorney and apparently there has been some type of dust up between the lawyer and the football offices at UT. My info is that the lawyer believes that after Walls is charged that he (the lawyer) can cut a deal to a reduced charge.
Apparently there is a fear right now that fat white boy is going to file law suit or law suits against certain players and perhaps, the nightclub in question as well. Judgement in lawsuit stands for 10 years, I believe.
I am beginning to believe that, unless Hughes was involved in kicking outside, that he will survive this incident and play this fall.
May have a further update later today.

Crap...would hate to lose King...what is the 50/50 about...I know he is indefinitely suspended but everything I have read indicate he threw the first punch but it was inside...not the cop...but maybe throwing the first punch is enough in Dooley's mind to kick him off the team...

Apparently King is not in school right now. He was merely in Knoxville taking part in unsupervised workouts. He will probably be back in the fall unless things get worse from here.

Good info Dave, I had just assumed he was attending classes. Right now, I really don't have any info that would indicate that King is going to be charged with even simple assault. The kid really has a chance to be a star in the SEC, so I hope he's back in town in about three weeks!

Both players that were suspended indefinitely were sent home for the rest of the summer by Dooley. They were told not to be in Knoxville unless they were requested by the police investigating the incident.
They were both taking classes during the second session of summer school and were working out withe the team.

Unless Walls left last night, he is still in Knoxville along with his mother and perhaps, his father. His attorney has requested that he remain in town. Greg King's mother picked him up the first of the week and took him back to Memphis, just as I indicated in the original post.

Then I suppose his attorney worked that out with Dooley. The terms of their suspension were to return home from Knoxville, not be on campus at all, and not return until fall camp begins. They had to forfeit their second summer term room and board checks as well.

Somebody said there was a bit of a row between one of the attorneys and the school. I wonder if this had something to do with it.

Wagee mentioned that in one of his posts.

I assume they were able to withdraw from 2nd term classes without academic penalty?
Pretty interesting that Dooley ran their asses out of town.
