Stupidity ..quite the contrary , I would say it was an excellent move by the Police . Now the tax payers don't have to pay for the murderer's trial or his incarceration . It is too bad that more of these incidents don't end this way .

Well I certainly understand your point , but in this case he went into his (ex) place of business and attacked several and killed one . He had been on the run for several days and there was no doubt of his guilt . Hell he stilled had the murder weapon in his hand ....fuck 'em , he is where he needed to be.

I expect tax payer dollars will be forked out after the wrongful death lawsuit filed by his survivors. This isn't about whether that idiot deserved to die or not. It IS about the fact that the police killed him (albeit indirectly) under circumstances where he was not an active threat to anybody else.

Perhaps this is semantics, but I don't believe the Police killed him. From the video it looks like the ground did most of the killing. Police offered electical stimulation, but gravity provided death. :ouch:

Turns out that the fall didn't kill him after all. It seems that the cops started reading to him from one of Al Gore's speeches and he died of boredom and then fell lifelessly off the cliff. Several cops were on the verge of jumping as well and at least one of them held his own gun to his head and threatened to pull the trigger unless the Al Gore reading was stopped. Ironically, Al Gore himself was able to observe the entire incident from the back deck of his new 9-bathroom California mansion.
