I read somewhere that Arian was getting the first team carries now over Slaton - True? If so, we knew it was a matter of time after his performances at the end of last season. I'm glad his time is coming sooner rather than later.

Thanks TnPhil, but I really haven't gone anywhere. I visit almost every day. It's just slow everywhere for football.

And FLAVOLS, yes Arian is repping with the 1st team. He trained all off season with his brother who moved to Houston to help him out and it is really paying off. He reduced his body fat, put on some muscle and improved his speed some. Arian's on a mission this year. He's determined to give the coaches no other choice but to play him regardless of who else is on the roster. I've never seen him quite so driven. Coaches seem to be very pleased. But there's a long way to go, so we'll have to wait and see.

Ben Tate is not a game breaker, he's a pounder with some wiggle. I see him on the taxi squad going into the season.

The Texans took Tate in the 2nd or 3rd round....a curious choice (and a wasted one) IMO. I didn't figure him to go near that high either.
