Demetrice Morley was not at the scrimmage today. When asked, Kiffin said he needed to talk to Morley and would have more to say on Tuesday. Certainly doesn't sound good for Morley.

Tennessee had 10-15 prospects on campus today who have offers.

Morley MIA

For the third time in nine practices, safety Demetrice Morley was absent. The first practice of the spring, Morley was not allowed to workout after being late for a meeting. The second practice (Tuesday), Morley was excused to be with his significant other for the birth of their child. On Saturday, Morley's absence didn't appeared to be excused. It's also been indicated that there have been some inexcused class absences with Morley as well.

"There was something that came up this morning," Kiffin said. "I will be able to tell you more about it on Tuesday. But I have to have a conversation with him before I tell you guys."


Doesnt look good. Probably another casualty.

Has anybody seen a friggin list of recruits visiting this weekend?

just said..That WMG and CLK want Morley BAD...Said that D-MO's absence was due to the birth of his kid Monday with Doctor's appointments and such...Said the CLK expects Morley to be a BIG PART of this team in 09...Then took a shot at Slade and his ATROCIOUS Coaching... Guess we will just have to HIDE AND WATCH....:082502now_prv:

His excuse was LEGIT..he just didn't CALL A COACH...I mean come on..You got TWO BABIES..and you can't even pick up the phone to call a coach to tell them you gonna miss practice....:nutkick: When it comes to WASTED TALENT..D-Mo is close to being on the list at UT..ALL WORLD TALENT but a 2 cent brain...

I hope they get him squared away, I never like to see these kids get kicked when they have problems like this. Anyway, agree on the atrocious coaching by Slade. Morley has proven he can play in this league, I want to see him finish the season.

How is he a thug for not showing up? If anything he's just lazy. I hate seeing the word "thug" thrown around at every player who gets in trouble.

How is he a thug for not showing up? If anything he's just lazy. I hate seeing the word "thug" thrown around at every player who gets in trouble. is a THUG.... He helped HOLD A GUY AND GO THROUGH HIS POCKETS AND ROB HIM..So yeah..I'd say D-MO is a thug..But a 6-2 200plus pound thug who runs a 4.3 and can hit like a lb..even WMG was saying...HIS FOOTBALL IQ IS OFF THE CHARTS..And he even ran some of those jackrabbits down from behind at Florida...IT"S JUST THE OFF THE FIELD DECISIONS D-MO has trouble with..Like PICKING UP THE PHONE AND CALLING A COACH...Another poster on VQ said he had a class with Morley this spring and he hardly EVER SHOWED..now he has quit coming altogether...If he MAKES IT I am gonna be surprised...Lots of people might not remember Kenny Phillips was DB 1 and Morley was DB 1A coming out of high school down there in South Florida..Phillips at Carol City and Morley at Killian.. I'd love to see he and Berry and Rogan and Vinson ( another ROYAL FUCK UP) all back there together this year...

I'm not sold on Rogan especially considering some of the recruits we have coming in like Jackson, Edwards, Gordon and Teague. My preference would be to have Teague on offense though.

Ahh yes, I forgot about that. I guess that does qualify him.

I really hate it for him, because he's got kids to take care of, but he has been given multiple opportunities. If he does indeed get the boot, can't really feel too bad for him.
