Head Coaches are at Auburn, Mississippi State and Clempson and name one the new assistants on their staffs. No cheating like googling anything now. I need the full name of the HC, correctly spelled. Don't post it, just say whether you can name them.

On a related note, can you imagine in your wildest dream Phil Fulmer calling the sports guy at the Palm Beach paper and asking for an interview? :NoWay:

I can name the head coaches, no assts from MSU, a few from AU, one from Clemson and thats it. Havent seen anything about these guys since signing day.

The thing that impresses me most about Kiffin so far....very little coach speak.

Auburn's coach is ____ (I know it)....but honestly I got no idea who is at MSU or at Clemson. Man, this has really brought it home how fortunate we are here in Big Orange Country.

Auburn coach is Chizik and Trooper Taylor is his only assistant, LOL. New Cow Bell coach is Mr. Offensive Coordinator from Florida, old whatshisname! Did you ax about Clem's Son, that would be Dabo Sweeney the Fighting Irishman, he has two former UT coaches, Kevin Steele escaped from Nick Satan and good old boy Daniel Brooks.

Due to the history of success in their programs, flying under the radar won't work for Auburn or Clemson or their staffs. They are still a highlighted game on most schedules.
Miss St. falls under more of a curiosity this year to see if McMullen was the genius at UF or Meyers (s intended).

Dabo Sweeny will be a huge failure.

You just proved my point...even an astute, well informed football fan like ryno doesn't know the name of the MSU HC.

I thought it was a rhetorical question. I guarantee you nobody in the Big 12, PAC 10, Big 10, or ACC can answer that question. They can all tell you about UT unless they've been locked in a closet for the last 4 months.

I'm sure that was some kind of typo from Ryno....really. No, no, I thought his nickname was "Mc". That must have been what it was.

What is really important though is that outside of their fanbases, nobody cares! Not FL, not Ga, not even Al and certainly not the rest of the country.
It's amazing that after 5-7 our vols have been all over the tv, sports mags and radio nationwide. And can you imagine walrus the magnificent calling the coach of the NFL champions and him coming here simply out of respect?

Well it was after wagee proved he couldn't follow simple directions.

The point is pretty obvious, there are some people on this board who are very bright and follow college football but who would struggle to tell you any details about the staffs at these other schools. Yet even people who arent UT fans cant help but know who Lane & Monte Kiffin are, and who Ed Orgeron is, for example.

Auburn, MSU and Clemson may turn out to have made very good hires...but I guarantee you they wont have the chance to go big time like we will. Tennessee, Kiffin and his staff have made themselves the talk of college football since the end of the bowl season. Something tells me that isn't going to change.
