Sheesh, I read some of the articles the first one linked to and found that we got hit by one last Oct. 7, without any ill effect. :nana: Dang thing blew up when it hit the atmosphere. It looks like this one was bigger, however.

what I want to know is how these things manage to avoid the billons of space junk we leave up there? and what would happen if one actally nailed a piece up there, could it be bumped into the atmosphere?
