When is the alumni association going to realize that no one who graduated from UT wants anything to do with an alumni association that has anyboby from this glorified community college down here.

It's time for separate associations or better yet give UTC to the BOR.

UT needs to keep the Chattanooga campus in the UT system just where it is, especially with that world-renowned SIM Center. Or, better yet put the SIM Center under joint control of UTK and ORNL ...then let UTC out of the system if that is what they want.

Besides, the glorified community college in the state is in Memphis, the one that has FedEx's backing but whose transportation program still takes a backseat to UTK's Logistics Program. Think of the PR disaster if UM got control of the UT Center for Health Sciences.

UTC Does not bother me at all, except the faculty always bitches about not getting enough funding.
