I understand he will move in on 4/30. Very nice house! Lots of space for his kids to play.

I'm happy for coach K. That home is really not my style, but I hope he and his family are happy.

Really? I like what I see, and the description makes it sound really nice. Definitely my style, but Alas, no one will pay me $2.0 million

Have you researched what type of underware he prefers yet?

$365 per square seems real steep to me, especially in this market.

Good for him to get the family here and settled in.

He prefers to spell it "underwear"

Not bad. I don't know what he lived in out in Cal., but he can't this much house out there for the price he probably ended up paying.

That's what I was thinking......but then again, it includes a custom pool, media room, and other things most likely not listed.

Compared to California prices, he probably thinks he got a steal. Nice looking house. I like that area. Quiet, but pretty convenient to everything.

Indy, I am a mom. I don't really go for stuff that's not super kid friendly. I like homes that feel old and lived in....not things that are pretentious. I'm not saying that Lane and Layla are those things....it's just not what I would go for. I'd probably pick a house that was built around the turn of the century and refurbish it but with things my kids would find okay to play around. Hardwood floors for my boy's cars, one nice carpeted area for my daughter's sommersaults. No antiques or white or.......I don't know. I guess I know what I mean, but it's hard to explain. I'm just not a traditional kind of girl. :)

He should have bought a house on the river then he could drive his boat up to the stadium.

Kiffin's Kompound (http://villagerealtytn.com/listings/photogallery/641580)

It is over priced at 365. But that's the axing price, not what he paid. Should be able to find that in the county records if they're on-line.

I don't care for the architectural style or the dark woodwork -- too 70's looking. He should be able to stash plenty of Red Bulls in that fridge for when Ed comes over.

Just because that was the listed price doesn't mean that was what he paid.

But yeah, people come from California all of the time and buy rental properties and the like thinking they are getting a great deal until they see what they are able to charge for rent.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!

I looked at this home several months ago when I was thinking about moving to Kville. Very overpriced for the current market. I know they looked hard at a home in Gettysvue which was built much better and priced right. Maybe they were able to "jaw" them down.

I hope not many people see his address on there. Too many nut cases wandering around these days. Layla and the kids home alone, he spends 24 hrs a day at the office.

Not overpriced for Lyons View and if you notice it says additional building sites so has to be a large lot.

Same house in Beverly Hills would be $8-10 mill.

It's public record and all over the internet. People can easily know where any of the coaches live.

I would be surprised if he's not in a gated neighborhood.

If it's the subdivision I think it's in, then no, it's not a gated community. This is not far from Cherokee Country Club, super close to campus and everything in west Knoxville.

I would guess this took precedence over most anything else.

You are correct on all counts. It is not a gated community, it is 5 minutes from Cherokee, and he can be parked and in his office in the football complex in about 15 minutes from the time he leaves his home.
