A collection of Region 1 DVDs for PM Brown and a friggin Ipod for the Queen, or this?

London, April 2 (ANI): Prince Philip made a gaffe when U.S. President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle met the Queen at Buckingham Palace.

This was their first meeting, and both the Queen and the Prince were sympathising with Obama and his wife about their gruelling schedule since arriving late on Tuesday evening.

“The time lag,” Sky News quoted the Queen as saying.

Philip added: “You’re just trying to stay awake!”

Upon that Obama told the two Royals: “I had breakfast with the Prime Minister, I had meetings with the Chinese, the Russians, David Cameron…”

He added: “And I’m proud to say I did not nod off in one of the meetings.”

Then Prince Philips blurted out: “Can you tell the difference between them?” (ANI)

HAW HAW HAW I wonder what Prince Phillip thought when Uhbama got out of the limo?

On the news yesterday, but the commentators ignored it completely. I wasn't sure what he meant, but apparently it's a dig at David Cameron.

I'm guessing the Queen is now fitting the prince for a muzzle. The Royals aren't supposed to get involved in politics and that comment, comparing the Chinese, Russians, and the leader of the British Conservative Party, at least walks right up to that line.

But it was funny. You wouldn't expect that from the husband of the Queen, you would think he would make fun of the Labour leader, not the Conservative.

Remember FDR's wheelchair? Not from photographs because it wasn't there.

Prince Phillip has had one of the dirtiest mouths in Britain in a conversational way.
The owner of my former company was a Brit and had occassion to meet him. My Boss came back to the states and in our Monday a.m. meeting, he spent about 15 minutes talking about the shock of hearing PP's language. That he didn't care what he said and who might have heard it. I asked for specifics and he blushed repeatedly as he mentally went through and finally decided he couldn't repeat any of the things he remembered.
