This time, I am taking a wait and see attitude. It is such culture shock to go from Fulmer to Kiffin to Dooley. And from raiding Florida and Georgia's recruits to raiding USF and Vanderbilt. Last year we had former head coaches signing on to be GAs, now we cannot even get an alum to come when we double his pay. Reminds me of the SNL skit, "Lowered Expectations."

in between Fulmer and Kiffin culture and is exactly what we need. But, we're definitely taking some steps back again! Not much to get excited about and still feels like a punch in the gut. People wonder why we still harp on Fulmer. He set this program back 5 to 10 years. If you want to blame anyone blame him. I'll take a wait and see on Hamilton as well because so far all he has done completely right is hire Pearl when he was told to. The jury is out on him to as far as the postseason is concerned.

Fulmer destroy our program after having what may turn out to be the greatest qb of all time in 97 and winning a NC in 98?
Has any program ever so under-achieved after winning a NC as we have. And we haven't come close to having a great qb since Tee left in 99, and this with high schoolers watching Peyton play every Sunday. IMHO the high schoolers and their coaches recognized Sanders was a dud and then throw in the worst wr coach of alltime and ergo, lousy to average qb play in the last decade.
And how in the world could a former OL and OL coach mis-evaluate so many OL prospects in the last 5 years.
We are truly in almost as bad shape as a program coming off the death penalty.

I was told there are only 50-55 players currently on scholly so add 20 or so recruits and we are at 70-75 recruits. I seem to recall that Bammer was restricted to around 70-72 players at the height of their probation a few years ago. So we are kind of on a self imposed Probation right now.
