Have you considered he may have been asked to leave? With Joseph joining the staff, we don't need 2 DB coaches. The timing of this could hurt w/ a couple of the recruits but we're building for the future. I suspect CDD is competent to hire a solid coaching staff. The glass is half-full!

I think a lot of this was planned. I'm not buying the bullshit story that Cregg and others on the staff had no idea that this was coming. I think Kiffin knew that he had to have Orgeron and his daddy from the start, and told the others to sit tight. The coaches who were left behind had to play dumb about the situation until Kiffin was ready to bring them on board. I expect Reaves to join them soon.

Lance Thompson is a douche bag. He doesn't know shit. All he knows is where the bodies are buried. He HAS contacted Sabin about getting his job back and it MAY still happen. But it's absoloutly a good the thing. The only reason he would stay is for his recruiting contacts and Derrick doesn't covet those.

Nah, I think Chaney was one of the few genuine guys on the old staff. I do think Cregg, Garza, and Reaves knew a lot more than they let on in the press.
