The things that are happening this week will DOOM Dooley's chances for success.....will have him FIRED within 3-4 years and will Usher Fulmer and his Cronies back into the AD.....
I am currently taking Applications for a New Team to follow and will be interviewing other Team's websites in preparation for making the "move"
We Are IREPARATELY DOOMED as a Program and will NEVR find our way out of this Darkness. AV...........was Always right.

The UT FB program continues to show the classic case if taking a tiny step forward and then 2-3 steps backwards. Or as Brassy said recently, we take out a shotgun and procede to shoot ourself in the foot every chance we get.
Someone has really pissed off the Football Gods and now we are cursed for eternity. I blame Phillie Da Poocher.

Turmoil gets everybody all wound up.
We are gonna have other coaches leave. We are gonna hire new coaches. We are gonna have Kiffin recruits sign with other schools. We are gonna add kids Kiffin didn't recruit.
All this is normal for our current situation. But it's not the end of the world or the demise of Volunteer Football.
It's often darkest before the dawn.
Buck up and give Coach Dooley a little credit for having good sense and a plan for the future. I think he's just the guy to turn this ship around and a definite upgrade over CLK.

Just taking a Page out of AV's Playbook and getting out front on the "worst case scenario" dealio.....you know, it COULD happen.....and THEN....I'd be RIGHT!

Alabama went on probation and through a number of coaches and have won the national championship once again. UT is in for a few rough years but will come out of this mess ok. It's not the end of Tennessee football!

You will NEVER get out in front of bAV because even if you are he will ALWAYS dive in claiming to be the first. I ain't the smartest guy around but after 6 years of reading bAV's, always the same junk, anybody knows what's coming. Look at this thread for example - when bAV sees a chance to knock UT football he zooms in like a fly landing on a pile of cow turd.
I am pretty sure that he will try to take credit for 2012 if he sees a chance, knocking the poor dead Myans out of the picture.

MH was NEVER the answer, although he did get rid of the Cancer Lardass. He hired a loser as Baseball coach. He has screwed up in contracts. He is a minor league AD at best. We are doomed in FB for the next 6 years. Our only hope is that we can turn Bama in for cheating again.
We have a Mid-level D-1 FB coach. We will NEVER win the NC in BB. Too many Tatoos and Headbands. CDD may be a nice guy but cannot hire a HS DC to work for him. We are now competing with TROY ST for recuits in FB. MH WILL be fired before the 2011 season book it.

The One Sentence Wonder writes multiple sentences in one post and even has a 2nd paragraph! Who'ed of Thunk It???
The One Sentence Wonder IS right about one thing- he ain't the smartest guy around here! In fact he is such a simpleton he can never even venture to give his own detailed opinions about UT Football. Probably has no idea who the players are nor the coaches. One of these "We Are Tennessee By Gawd and We Will Kick Your Ass" type mental midgets. But at least he is writing more than a few simple words now although maybe he has his child writing the post for him.

You just might want to direct that particular comment at The One Sentence Wonder. He NEVER EVER post a detailed opinion about anything since he is a simpleton. What he does do however, is go out of his way to attack me at every instance, so direct your complaint at him- since it fits.

Uh no. Didn't drop any insults or whatnot. Just pointing out that AV can't say anything about O's post cause it was spot on. He knows it, I know it, all God's chillun know it.

I would at least like to give CDD a few years to prove himself.....but I have no clue how good this will turn out. I am reading good things about CDD's reputation, so I will give him the benefit of the doubt for a few years.
If he is't the answer, then we just spread the $5 million+ coaching budget to find the answer until it is fixed. The next hire will not be made by MH if CDD doesn't succeed.
I agree that the sad truth is that even if CDD is a success it will take 4 years of program building to do it. But let's not hang the guy before he has a chance to prove himself.

Yes, yes it's not too hard to be right about bAV since he always posts the same shit day after day, year after year. That's the the reason he's on my ignore list. LON, you're a real POS but for some reason I like you, BTW, Ricky Ricardo sends his best regards.

I hate to interrupt the pissing match going on between AV, Oracle, Leggo, and Poley but if I might address the actual subject of this thread I'd like to point out what I hope is a possible flaw in your theory. And that is that 3-4 years from now Fulmer will be in his 60s and my guess is that by then everyone will be so sick of all the crap that has gone on (by then for going on 15 straight years) that any thoughts of bringing back the guy who drove this thing into the ditch originally will make almost everyone puke. Once again I advise Hammy and the UTAD to take every opportunity to remind folks that Fulmer got us into this mess and no matter what happens now or since Fulmer's firing we wouldn't be here in the first place if Fulmer hadn't done such a spectacularly-poor job. Then if Dooley flames out and has to be fired and people point out that Hammy sucks as well then at least no one but Fulmer himself and the other two remaining Fulmerites still alive by then will have the audacity to seriously suggest that he be be allowed back in to resume doing the damage he did before. And those three idiots will be laughed right out of Knoxville. Hawk, you're my guy but I dearly hope you're wrong on this one.
