Its an early season game and Oregon will be ranked very high. Gameday might make a trip to Knoxville for the game if there are no other high profile games.

Question? Would a win in this game not be the most important win since 2001 in the Swamp? Or, possible bigger??

National TV, Pac 10 team, DD's 1st big game

What would a win do for recruiting, morale, public image???

They will be top 5 for sure, we will have nothing to lose with a 1st year coach. Hopefully it will be about 93 degrees in Knoxville that day.

Cross country games are always tough to gauge.

Cal was a Top-10 team when they came in a few years ago, playing a TN team coming off a 5-6 season. How'd that one work out?

No other high profile games? This likely won't make it to ESPNU.

The Oregon at Tennessee Game Will Be an ESPN Game if the Bama Game is on CBS. If Bama is on ESPN (and no CBS game), Vol game will slip to other scheduling.

Go VOLS!!! Win em' All!!!

CBS doesn't get games until the 3rd week, so NO SEC game will be on CBS during week 2. We'll get one of the two prime ESPN/ABC slots IIRC.

I'll bet any amount of money you want that this game is on ESPN or ESPN2. Hawk can hold the money in escrow since he is 6'11" 335 lbs.
