Lest we forget, little Lane has taken his oversized suit to LaLa Land and for him that's going to be Lawyer Land.
Making USC headlines the week before his hire (when either he or his Father or both were talking to AD Garrett about what a great hire the dastardly trio would be) was the announcement that USC had self imposed sanctions on their basketball program in hopes that the NCAA would think those sanctions were enough.
Now the BB player (?Not) at fault just says he loves USC and has nothing else to say.
The latest comment from AD Garrett is telling, however.
Garrett said USC has not self-imposed penalties on its football program because "we have some arguments there, and we'd like to present those arguments [to the NCAA Committee on Infractions]."
Not, that no sanctions are merited and not we'd never consider self-imposed, but we haven't .....because we have questions.
Expect to see a lot of Lawyers in Lanes' LaLaLand.
