Our current system of approving testing of drugs on Humans, relies upon Private Review Boards of Doctors one of which was invented out of whole cloth in this sting by the Government Accountability Office.

This just shows we need national healthcare to protect us from our current failed system of trusting private boards to make decisions, decisions which are rubber stamped by regulators who have no budgets for independent review of these private sector decisions.

It's currently a system of self regulation in health care. Kinda like the self regulation in the insurance business we saw from AIG. And the self regulation in the energy trading business we saw from Enron.

The government can't run its own bailout system. What makes you think that they can run healthcare?

The government can't do anything that the private sector can do with 50% of the efficiently that the private sector can do things.

For the 10,000th time. Healthcare is inelastic, yet we run it like its a regular capitalistic business. Therefore: You get screwed! We have to have state-run insurance. Our healthcare sys is horribly inefficient! Isnt privatization supposed to fix that? It hasnt. It wont.
